My story

Hi there, I’m Bruno – a handsome, outdoorsy guy with a big heart and a strong independent streak. I originally came to the shelter as a surrender, and while I found a home for a while, I ended up back here because my herding instincts were a bit too much for the situation. What can I say? I’ve got that classic working-dog drive! I love being outside – exploring, sniffing, running, lounging in the sun – you name it. Nature is definitely my happy place. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company, but I’m not the kind of pup who needs constant attention or snuggles. I like my people, but I also value my personal space. I'm looking for a home that understands my breed traits and respects my need for structure, enrichment, and calm. I’d do best with older, respectful kids who know how to give me space when I need it. I’ve got a lot of love to give to the right family – one that will appreciate me for the independent, loyal, and active dog I am. If you’ve got a quiet backyard, a love for the outdoors, and a soft spot for quirky, smart pups like me, let’s meet. I might just be your perfect match.
