My story

Hi, I'm Draco. Life's thrown me a few curveballs-I was surrendered when my previous owner became homeless. It was a tough goodbye, but now I'm hoping for a fresh start with someone who'll give me the stability and love I deserve. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once I warm up, I'm very friendly and affectionate. I just need a little time and patience to feel safe. Once I do, I'll be your loyal companion through and through. I've never lived with kids, but I'd likely do just fine with respectful, calm children who understand that I might need space at first. As for other animals, it's been reported that I didn't do well living with them in the past. Here at the shelter, I tend to not be a fan of the more abrasive dogs, but there may be a calm dog I could get along with if the right fit. Honestly though, I think I'd love soaking up all the attention anyway! If you're looking for a sweet, steady companion who just needs a little time to trust, I might be the perfect match.
