Timber (FIV+)

My story

Timber is a friendly, loving, and chill 5-year-old guy looking for his forever home! With his big chonky cheeks, scraggly ears, lopsided eyes and enchanting personality, Timber has his foster humans totally wrapped around his paw, and you'll soon see just why. This guy loves to nap but is always interested in company. When he hears or notices humans in his home, he wants to be around them all the time even if he’s just observing. But if you want to pet him for hours? Score! He’s super chill and loves to lounge more than anything.This handsome orange boy currently lives in a house, but I actually think he would prefer an apartment. He will thrive in any environment, but he is blind in one eye, so less space to monitor is kind of nice since he has some vision issues. Plus, a smaller space means he can be in closer proximity to his humans! :) Timber is getting some teeth removed so he will need a partial or full wet food diet (we will see if he will still eat dry food after his surgery. He does eat some dry food now, even though his mouth is currently a bit painful). Timber is also FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats can live with FIV negative cats in stable, indoor-only social environments. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
