My story

Nana and Princess are two charming, affectionate 1-year-old pirate cats who are looking for their forever port to call home. Nana is a brave buccaneer who lost one eye lost in The Battle of Eye Infection, which tragically plagues so many in the world of cat rescue. Princess has a beautiful, rumbling purr to draw in unsuspecting humans so she can slay their hearts with adoration. She also has one eye which struggles with a viral condition but is fully functional. Together, they are a perfect privateer pair of renegade sweethearts! These loving swashbucklers enjoy getting pets, playing with toys, and lounging. They have a medium energy level and would thrive in a clean, quiet home with low activity due to their FIV+ status. Nana and Princess are both FIV+, but that doesn’t mean they can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. It is not transmissible to humans or to dogs. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
