My story

Hi, I’m Fred aka Koby!  If you’ve got two hands and are willing to give me belly rubs all day, then you might just be the purrfect pawrent for me! I’m a sweet, handsome, and chill guy just looking for a cozy spot to snooze, some plush toys to toss around, and a human (or two!) to love on. I love people and dogs! I’ll walk right up and give kisses if you let me. I haven’t met any cats up close yet, but those neighborhood strays don’t bother me one bit! I’m crate trained, super quiet (I don’t bark at all), and I don’t mind being left alone. I’ll just nap and dream about belly rubs until you come back! My energy? Let’s call it balanced. I’m happy to nap all day, but I do get playful bursts where I go wild with my plush toys (they’re my favorite!). I walk nicely on a leash, don’t pull, and if you ask me to switch directions — I’m on it. I’m still learning the whole potty training thing, but I’m trying hard and getting the hang of it. Oh, and food? I love it!!! Maybe a little too much. My foster mom makes me use a slow feeder because I don’t really believe in chewing… life’s short, eat fast, right? I know how to sit, lay down, and come here, especially if you’ve got treats and a cheerful “good boy” ready. So, if you’re looking for a gentle, loving, unbothered best friend who gives A+ snuggles and a million kisses; I’m your guy. Let’s do this belly rub thing for life! The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2442111##
