My story

Hi there, I’m Bucky — a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a striking tri-color coat, a tail full of wiggles, and a heart ready to love you forever. I weigh 40 pounds, which means I’m just the right size to join you on adventures, hang out on the couch, or trot beside you on walks. I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 06/20/2025, and although no one came to claim me, I haven’t let that dull my spirit. I’m still super sweet, friendly, playful, and always eager to please. I already know how to listen and follow commands, and I love making people smile — especially if treats are involved! They say I’m a good-looking boy, but I like to think my personality shines even brighter than my handsome coat. I’m up to date on all my shots, heartworm negative, and I’ll be neutered upon adoption — all I need now is someone like you to give me a second chance. Come meet me at cage 22, ID #11081. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
