My story

Our hearts hurt for Gatsby. He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 6/20. Gatsby is 2 years old and weighs in at 35 pounds. He is such a sweetheart. He knows to sit, stay and lay down when asked. His curly hair is terribly matted and probably uncomfortable. He sure could use a spa day with a new best friend. Would you give this sweet little man a chance at happily ever after? Ask for ID# 11103 Run 858. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
