My story

Oswald is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Scroll through his pictures to see his cute videos! Oswald and his brothers came to Heartland after living the first 8 months of their lives in rural Nebraska. There were 4 puppies in this "oops" litter, and had been living mostly outdoors for 6 months until their owner decided that they deserved to be living better lives. The citizen brought 4 pups to our partner shelter in Nebraska, where they received vet care, good food, learned to leash walk, attended playgroups with other dogs, and received lots of love and socialization. One of the brothers got adopted from the shelter in Nebraska, but after 3 months, our friends at the shelter knew that kennels were no place for puppies to grow up, and asked if we would take the remaining 3 pups to Heartland for a chance to get adopted. Of course we were happy to welcome these boys here, and we are loving them so much already! We think Oswald is just the perfect medium size. At 8 months old, he's about 35 pounds, and probably won't get much bigger than that. Not too small, and not too big! He walks well on the leash and is just about as friendly as they come. Oswald loves playgroup and hasn't met a dog yet that isn't his friend. He's just the nicest guy with dogs and people alike. We hope you will inquire about Oswald today! Oswald’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
