My story

Microchipped, DOB May 5, 2024 Meet the one and only Meowna Lisa, a timeless beauty who’ll steal your heart! She’s as captivating as she is sweet. Her meows are the softest, most adorable sounds you’ve ever heard, perfect little chirps that melt you every time. She enjoys being petted if her humans keep it slow and considerate (they started by petting her only when she was eating, to get her used to it). She is also super playful. She has lived through some tough times, coming from a hoarding situation where human contact was limited. Because of this, she’s a bit shy at first; but with a little patience and understanding, she’ll bloom into the loving companion you’ve always wanted! She may be cautious, but her gentle spirit shines through when given the chance. She warms up with a considerate approach, interactions, and playtime. She is skittish and if she is approached too rapidly she will run. She’s also not a fan of loud or chaotic environments, so a calm, quiet sanctuary would be her perfect home. With time, she’ll warm up to you, and before you know it she’ll be curling up beside you for gentle pets. Slow, thoughtful introductions are key. She may even co-exist peacefully with other calm, friendly cats if introduced properly. She has observed the resident cat in her foster home from a distance, and later tried to approach and sniff, but the cat chased Meowna Lisa back to her sanctuary room. Despite that, she is not antagonistic but rather friendly to the resident cats. She also watches the resident dog from a distance but runs away if it moves. Her fur is grey and white. Wet food is best for her; she eats the dry type too but prefers wet as most of her teeth are gone. Meowna Lisa loves to play, her little bursts of energy will bring joy and laughter into your home! She is very sweet and can be talkative once she warms up to he new humans. If you’re ready to give her the space and patience she deserves, you’ll find a true friend in this beautiful girl!
