My story

Turtle and Tootsie are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Hiya! My name is Turtle and my brother is Tootsie! We spend all our time together ~ whether we’re tumbling around the living room or curled up in a sunbeam ~ but our foster mom says we definitely have our own unique purrsonalities. She says we’re like yin and yang—one wild, one wise; one bold, one bashful. I will admit that I’m the quieter, shyer one of our duo. At this point in my life, I sometimes prefer to watch the world from a safe spot and just take it all in. But that shouldn’t fool you, because there are other times that I do like to play. In fact, my foster mom says that my special gift is playing hide-and-seek. Now Turtle, though, is a completely different story. He’s curious about everything ~ the broom, the buttons on your shirt, and especially the way gravity works. And he doesn’t even mind being petted ~ as long as it doesn’t interfere with the time he needs to knock things over. We’re looking for a special human (or two!) who will love us for who we are. Someone patient and kind. Someone who can appreciate the twinkle in Tootsie’s eyes, but also the softer, more gentle side of me.
