My story

Meet Sophia Arlene! Despite the upheaval in 8-year-old Sophia's recent life - being abandoned and then confiscated by Riverside County Animal Services - she is a happy, affectionate sweetheart. And don’t let her age fool you – this girl is full of pep! Sophia recently returned from a Frosted Field Trip. She had a blast, and we learned all about her in a home setting! Here is a recap from Sophia's foster family: From the moment she hopped in the car, Sophia was been a total dream. She rode like a champ, then lit up with excitement when she realized she had the backyard all to herself – zoomies commenced immediately! This well-mannered lady even joined us on a grocery run and was so well-behaved. Later, she melted right into our home life – lounging on the couch while we cooked dinner, then sleeping soundly through the night. She’s the kind of dog who makes herself at home, fast. Weekend highlight? WATER DAY! San Diego was heating up, so we introduced Sophie to the fun of splash time. She was a little unsure at first, but once the water balloons came out, she was leaping, chasing, and chomping at the water like a puppy. And don’t even get us started on her sprints – this girl can MOVE! After all the excitement, Sophia happily curled up for a nap, recharging for her next adventure. Belly rubs, sunbathing, couch cuddles – she’s here for it all. Sophia is affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving. She’s ready to bring smiles, tail wags, and plenty of naps to her forever home.
