My story

Meet Scribbles! Scribbles came to us from Pasadena Humane Society on December 1st. He is very shy and fearful, understandable after losing his home and facing new environments. We have been giving Scribbles space and time to learn he is safe. During one-on-one quiet time with volunteers, he enjoys sitting on their laps and being petted. You can see how much Scribbles wants to trust and be loved. To give him a chance to relax and decompress in a home environment, Scribbles is being fostered by FFF's founders. He sleeps in bed with them at night, does well with their four dogs, and hangs out with the family on the couch. As you can see in the video, Scribbles is a quick learner and so eager to please. Check out him sweetly offering his paw to shake and doing a "down"! Scribbles went on a weekend trip to the beach with his foster family, and he did great! He went on a brisk beach walk, cuddled in bed, and was extra loving in a new, quieter place! Scribbles needs a very patient, loving family to help him continue to become more confident, feel safe, and learn to trust. Might that be you?
