My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please meet Reba!  She is a 4 year old Bichon that was recently released from a breeder.  Reba is ready to start her new life as a pet and we are ready to find her a great home! Although Reba's life didn't start out great, she is adjusting amazingly well in her foster home.  She is a happy, goofy girl that is playing with other dogs and discovered toys and chewies! She gets very excited when it's play time and she barks and spins in happy dances.  Reba does well with other dogs and will benefit from one in her new home.  She is eager to learn.  She already has learned to go up and down stairs to get in and out of the house.  When she is outside she does really well with going potty.  Please expect accidents while she adjusts to a new home and routine and while she is still learning about living in a real house.  Reba is nicely crate trained but does well being gated in her foster home's kitchen with a pee pad.  She is not leash trained at this point so a fully fenced yard is ideal for Reba.  Reba has been around older kids and did fine.  She also lives with cats and has not showed much interest other then barking while they sneak around at night.   Reba has been professionally groomed and will need routine visits to the groomer every few months.   Although Reba’s life didn’t start off perfectly, she has quickly adapted to her foster home and is doing wonderfully! This happy, goofy girl loves to play with other dogs and has discovered the joy of toys and chewies! When it’s playtime, she can’t contain her excitement—barking and spinning in happy little dances. Reba gets along well with other dogs and would do best with a playful companion in her future home. She’s eager to learn new things and has already figured out how to go up and down the stairs to come in and out of the house. Outside, she does a great job going potty, but just a heads up—there might be a few accidents as she settles into a new routine and learns all about living in a cozy home. Reba is comfortable in her crate but also does well when gated in the kitchen, where she has a pee pad. She’s not quite leash trained yet, so a fully fenced yard would be perfect for her to run and play safely. Reba has been around older kids and has done fine with them. She even shares her space with cats, showing little interest beyond a few curious barks as they sneak around at night. Reba received some pampering with professional grooming and will need regular visits to the groomer every few months—after all, every girl likes to look her best! Reba is ready to bring love and joy to her forever home! We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security. Reba is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 17, 2025, 12:40 pm
