He’s a mid-energy guy who likes to blow off steam by chasing a ball or playing with toys, then will settle in for a snooze. Skipper is looking for a family who will be willing to help him continue to learn what it’s like to live in a home, and he’ll earn his keep with lots of snuggles and puppy kisses.Skipper can be a bit bashful at first, but opens up quickly to new people. He has done well with dog-savvy children kids who will respect his boundaries and let him settle in at his own pace. Skipper enjoys the company of other dogs and gains confidence from being able to watch how they explore the world. With proper introductions, Skipper would likely be fine with cats. He loves bones and chew toys, and will happily spend his time chasing a ball around or trying to get the squeaker out of a toy.Skipper is already good at coming when his name is called! He is hoping to find a family who will give him consistency, patience, and lots of love as he continues to work on his puppy manners. This sweet and affectionate boy is sure to learn quickly and will grow into a wonderful family companion.Skipper is a happy guy who is always sporting his best smile.
