My story

Meet Petey! Oh this little guy is sooo cute! He is around 4-5 months old and around 12 lbs. He was found in a drain pipe with his friend Pal. Petey is now in a foster home and doing well.  Petey is a lovely boy. He loves being cuddled and is affectionate and sweet. He is playful and enjoys lots of toys. He can be a little timid initially- not surprising as he clearly had a rough start in life. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a social and playful friend in the home to hang out with. This type of friendship can help a more timid dog a lot. Petey needs a moment when first meeting people. He does not enjoy the chaos and fast movements of small children but will do fine with older kids who understand his need for a more calm approach. We would love to see Petey in a home with a yard - he is just learning to walk on a leash and needs more practice. Petey is the sweetest boy who, with some more training and socialization, will be the best companion.  Petey will be vaccinated, chipped and dewormed. He will be neutered when he is a little older, at our cost. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
