My story

Are you seeking a cuddly companion to hang out with you all day and night? I’m looking for someone who will sit by my side as I snooze, offer me lots of head pets and snuggles when I’m awake, and let me sleep near them at night. My foster mom says I’m the sweetest cat she’s ever met. I don’t know about that; I just want cuddles!I had a pretty rough time on the streets, but I still love people and want to be around them all the time. If you stand next to me, I will often gently put my paws on you to say, “Pick me up and cuddle me, please!” I’m not very interested in playing, but I do like to rub my face on catnip sometimes.I don’t mind getting my nails trimmed as long as you’re petting me while you do it. And I don’t even notice my insulin injections, especially if I’m eating at the time. The needle is really small and not scary at all.I am startled by loud, unexpected noises and tend to bolt, and I need to get my insulin on a schedule, so I should be an indoor-only kitty. I’m missing a couple of important teeth, so I have an easier time eating watered-down wet food. I especially enjoy my food if you pet me while I`m eating.Will you give me a safe forever home? I promise to give you so much love in return! Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday, Friday, and all holidays.
