My story

Say hello to the loving and playful Lucky! Lucky has quickly come out of her shell in her foster home and has shown to be an affectionate, playful, and curious cat.Lucky is young at heart and would do well in a home that could offer interactive play in the morning and evening. Her favorite toy has been a wand with string, and she enjoys using scratching posts between chasing her wand. Lucky often switches between requests for pets and play, so make sure you’re reading her body language! If she plops on her side and/or stops requesting cheek scratches, she’s probably ready to get some play time in.In addition to her playful side, Lucky loves giving and receiving affection. When you get home, she is often ready to greet you with head rubs and requests for pets. If you sit down with her, she may even plop into your lap when in the mood!Lucky is a curious girl and loves to explore any open doors, drawers, and cabinets. She is brave when it comes to new noises like blenders, cars, and laundry machines, and can often be found napping in chairs, exploring, or looking at herself in mirrors.Lucky has been a joy to foster, and anyone would be *Lucky* to take her home!!Based on shelter recommendations, Lucky would do best in a home without other cats.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday, Friday, and all holidays.
