Her owner passed away after living in poor conditions with inadequate care. We want to take this moment to encourage everyone to check in on loved ones—both human and animal—who may rely on others for care. Personality: Incredibly sweet and affectionate—loves to make biscuits on her bed Calm and gentle—would thrive in a low-key home Enjoys pets and attention Has beautiful long, fluffy fur that requires regular brushing and possibly professional grooming Big girl who needs help keeping her coat tidy (she came to us very matted) Good With: Other calm cats - While she arrived with Lucy, the two are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately as per their family. Respectful, cat-friendly dogs Gentle, respectful children Quiet home environments Does Not Prefer: High-energy animals or chaotic households Maggie is gentle senior who has known both love and hardship.
