My story

I’m Ginger, a canine sweetheart in a beautiful red dog suit. I am a 6-year-old healthy female terrier mix who is very loving, calm, happy, attentive, delightful and a joy to be around. I enjoy short walks and light exercise, I’m not aggressive and I am thrilled to be with people. I have some limited eyesight but walk right behind or alongside you and follow your path, so I can probably see shadows. Come and see what a healthy and truly awesome dog I really am. I am faintly deaf (like many humans) and navigate the world with courage, curiosity and a tail that never stops wagging.Fun for me is backyard play and short leash walks. I might like to be with school aged kids, or a retired couple, or anyone who wants to surround me with hugs. I’m a gentle dog with a loving heart and a contagious smile. Shelter life is very difficult on my emotions, and I will be so thankful to find a calm, comfortable and caring home. I thrive on the simple joys of life like being softly touched and being near my humans. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and potty trained. You and your family can have a powerful effect on a precious special needs dog. I deserve a safe place to call my own. Please contact the folks at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays and come experience Ginger`s love for life.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ginger *Sponsored*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
