My story

Squeaky here and it’s very nice to meet you! I am a 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who is super friendly, happy, lovable, potty trained, courageous and eager to please my human companions. I love soft stuffy toys that squeak and can often be found carrying one around. My purple dragon was my favorite until I wore it out but don’t worry, I don’t eat or like the squeaker inside. It’s the softness that gives me comfort.I came to the Sedona Humane Society after being found as a stray so I am ready for the next wonderful chapter of my life. I am a fun and adventurous pup who hasn’t yet found my forever partners. I keep busy and enjoy going on long walks with the volunteers, I love to splash in the water filled kiddie pool and boy do I love when my humans throw around a tennis ball? I am my happiest when I am with people as they make me smile and feel safe.But you know what? At the end of the day, all I really want is someone to give me some love, kindness and a tender body rub. I am a big snuggle bug at heart and will let you know that with “my lean”. When I am ready for a good scratch or snuggle, it’s my leaning into your leg or along your arm that lets you know it`s our snuggle time! I am looking for a secure, safe and relaxing forever home. I will need someone who will take the time to help me grow and learn to trust again. A home where I am the only dog and a house with a fenced in yard would be a dream come true as I am not fond of other dogs in my space, however I do great with kids! Bring the family to the shelter for a visit or two and let’s see how we all feel about each other. Could you please be my forever family?
