My story

Sweet Williams Lake TravelerThis lovely young cat, Marmalade recently made the journey from Williams Lake in hopes of finding a quieter, adult-only home where she can truly settle in and feel safe. She's still finding her footing in this new environment and can be quite uncertain when meeting new people - but give her time and patience, and she begins to show her softer side.Staff are now able to handle and even pick her up, but slow and gentle interactions are key to gaining her trust.Every now and then, she'll share a little meow or story - a glimpse into the sweet soul we're just beginning to know.With time, love, and a peaceful home, we believe she'll blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.Could you be the one to give Marmalade the forever home she's been waiting for?Our viewing/adoption hours are:1pm-5pm Monday - Wednesday, Friday1pm-4pm WeekendsThursday closed to the public.ORSubmit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!
