My story

Meet Noodle! Noodle is a very sweet and energetic Pitbull/terrier mix with a big personality. Despite a rough start to life, he's blossomed into an affectionate, confident little pup who absolutely adores being around his humans. Whether you're moving from room to room or curling up for a nap, Noodle will be right there with you. This little guy is all about warmth and comfort. He loves nothing more than to snuggle into the crook of your arm or burrow under a blanket. His other great love? Squeaky toys! Noodle is very playful and inquisitive, and full of energy! Noodle is currently teething, so he's very mouthy and still learning how to use his mouth appropriately. He especially loves chewing on hands (and yes, he goes hard!). He's working on redirection and will need a family willing to continue consistent, positive reinforcement training. Noodle has recently shown resource guarding to humans and will need some work on Because of this, along with his inappropriate use of his mouth we're looking for a home without young children.Noodle also experiences separation anxiety due to his early hardships. He's not quite ready to be alone, even for a short amount of time, so a home where someone works remotely would be ideal, at least during his transition period. He's just completed a refeeding program and is still gaining weight, so he'll need small, frequent meals throughout the day, another reason why a stay-at-home human would be a perfect fit.Noodle is an incredible pup with so much love to give. With time, patience, and plenty of cuddles, he'll grow into the amazing companion he's destined to be.Could he be your next family member? Our viewing/adoption hours are:1pm-5pm Monday - Wednesday, Friday1pm-4pm WeekendsThursday closed to the public.ORSubmit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant. You would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
