My story

Hi, I’m Didi! I’m a 3.5 yr old, 65 lb Shepherd mix. They say I’m a perfect blend of beauty, brains, and loyalty! I’m house trained, crate trained, clicker trained, and walk great on a leash. I’m basically a superstar who just needs a forever home to shine in. I’m athletic, smart, and always up for a mental or physical challenge. Whether it’s learning new tricks, going for a hike, or playing fetch, I’m your girl… But don’t let that fool you, I’ve got a soft side, too. I love nothing more than snuggling up on the couch or sitting loyally by your side, being your best friend and shadow. I’m good with other dogs and kids. I enjoy toys, kongs, and licky mats. My crate is my cozy safe space, and I’m perfectly content spending a little solo time there. I’m spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, on preventatives, and ready for my forever family! My adoption donation is $325. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
