My story

Meet our bonded pair of sisters, Caitlyn and Kris! These two sweet cats were both strays together and had litters of kittens within a few weeks of each other before coming into rescue. In rescue with their babies, they even helped each other care for the litter together. Both were amazing mamas...gentle, loving and patient. Now it's their time to be loved forever together and will be wonderful companions for any family! Kris is the more outgoing of the sisters and once she adjusts to her new home, she will run up to you for attention, love and pets. Caitlyn takes her cues of Kris but with a little bit of thrust this beauty will be ready to crawl on your lap and purr away.  These two are a joy and ready to being that ready made feline family into your home. They walk together, they play together and will be happy to share and love you together! Bonus both have lived with dogs! All cats are up to date with vaccinations, altered and  Felv/FIV tested. All adopted cats MUST BE INSIDE ONLY!   ADOPTION DONATION: $75 total for the pair.    PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
