Laken

My story

Laken was found as a stray with her presumed relative, River. Our best guess at their breed mix is a Pyrenees/Husky mix! With her long, plush coat, gentle and polite nature, and distinctive howl, Laken certainly exemplifies traits of both breeds. She is about 65 lbs - so a fairly large dog, but her coat makes her look larger.  Laken is dog friendly and plays well with dogs larger and smaller than her. She is very gentle when she greets people, walks nicely on a leash, and is overall a low-maintenance girly - except for her polar-bear coat, of course! We can envision Laken fitting into many types of households! Who wouldn't want to see that sweet face all day every day.
