Lucy

My story

Lucy is a gorgeous longhaired cat who is full of suprises. She was surrendered here after being taken in by someone whose lifestyle was just incompatible with Lucy's preferences. According to what we were told, Lucy was very unhappy about sharing space with a senior cat and 2 dogs. The person caring for her believed that she might do better as an only cat. She did share that her people skills are quite above average and that Lucy is one of the most chatty cats she's ever known. Here at the shelter, however, Lucy has suprised everyone by getting along just fine with kittens. She's not eager to play with them, it's true, but we have seen zero agression from this gray and white beauty. While she is yet to interact with any adult cats, it may just depend on the environment, personality, and age of the other animals that cross her path in the future.
