0846 Maveryck

My story

Maveryck is fostered in Ottumwa, IA This handsome guy is Maveryck.  He is a wonderful dog!  He was surrendered to us as his former owner was moving away from her parents home and wanted him to be more than an outside farm dog.  Maveryck is the perfect age of 4 years old and weighs approximately 50 lbs.  He is a black tri male Australian Shepherd. Maveryck is true to the breed, in that he is a very Velcro dog.  He walks excellent on the leash.  He has done wonderfully for grooming and he attends doggie daycare on a regular basis at his foster home.  He has been introduced to cats, and he has done well.  He would need to be in a home with a cat that is dog savvy, for sure.   Maveryck has excellent house manners.  He is crate trained, house trained and does weill with dogs of all sizes.  He would do ok with kids over 10 years of age.  He is a medium energy dog that would fit in most households, with the understanding that he is still an active, herding breed.   Maveryck is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and is receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.
