What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!A volunteer writes: Believing himself to be an award winning interior decorator, I am Groot wants to help you organize your home and life. This may seem like an unconventional choice given that Groot's our resident party cat, and has been each time he's been here, but he's extraordinarily smart. Plus, his hobby is just part of who he is and we love him for that. We encourage everyone to explore their interests but I am Groot could use some direction with his. Though a self proclaimed expert in his field, his penchant for redecorating and adding his own unique flair may not be to everyone's taste. This is why I am Groot likes to have lots of outlets for his ideas and projects and what he knows he really needs is a chance to be welcomed for who he is. Ever the party cat, Groot walked onto my chest as soon as I opened his condo door and said that while he knows things haven't been going as well as he'd like, he knows they're going to turn around for him soon.
