My story
A28458 Athena is a white and black colored, approximately 5-year-old, 69-pound, spayed female, Pitbull mix. She entered the shelter as a stray on 06-07-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Athena is a friendly, but timid and shy girl here at the shelter. She is nervous and unsure about this noisy shelter environment. Our staff describes her as a sweet girl. Saying she just needs some time to get comfortable with you and she is very loving. She was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks. She has had some training and will “sit” and “stay” upon command. She shows no interest in other dogs when in her kennel. However, we would recommend a meet and greet if you have other dogs in the home. Athena will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.
