Riley

My story

A26165 Riley is a grey and tan colored, approximately 4-year-old, 67-pound, neutered male, American Staffordshire Terrier. He entered the shelter as a stray on 03-09-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Riley is a friendly, high energy, vocal boy here at the shelter. He is happy to see you when you approach his kennel and very excited to go out for a walk. Our staff describes him as a very friendly, high-energy boy who just wants to run, and play ball all day. He was a little difficult to leash because he was so excited to come out of his kennel. He will need a little work on his manners as he pulls hard in excitement to smell and see everything. He listens well to his handler but still wants to go when something catches his attention. He will need some training as he did not respond to any commands. He does not show any interest in other dogs here at the shelter. If you are looking for that great dog to play fetch with, this might be your boy. Riley will be a fun-loving, family member in his new forever home.
