My story

Meet sweet Butterscotch!Butterscotch is a gorgeous three-year-old female cat looking for a kind heart to give her the safe, cozy home she so desperately needs. This lady came into our care after we found her abandoned in her previous home. Because of all the big changes this sweet girl has recently gone through, she is quite sensitive and shy at our shelter. Butterscotch is searching for that kind person, or family, who is willing to give her the time and space she needs to adjust to her new home. We think Butterscotch would likely do best in a quieter, more low-traffic home, free of loud noises and busy movements. Her ideal home would be a quiet safe space where she is able to relax and acclimate free from disturbances. We think that with some time and love, this little girl will blossom into the sweetheart we know she is.Butterscotch has lived with other cats previously, and we think she shows potential to do well in a multi-cat household. However, we still highly recommend a slow introduction between Butterscotch and any potential feline family members. A slow introduction will ensure that Butterscotch and her new kitty siblings feel comfortable and safe adjusting to each other`s presence.
