My story

Meet Rocky!He is a 9 year old Shepherd mix who weighs about 95 pounds. Rocky is a big guy, but don`t let his size fool you- he is a gentle giant! He is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and is a total lovebug. Rocky arrived in our care after his owner was unable to care for him, so he`s had a bit of trouble adjusting to shelter life. To help ease his transition, he went to foster for a few weeks and did wonderful!Rocky`s favorite place to be is right by your side, but he also enjoys a walk in the sunshine. He loves to go out and explore, but he is definitely a couch potato at heart. He shows potential to live with another dog if they`re a good fit, but he can be stressed when meeting new dogs, so he may prefer to be the only pup in his forever home. Since he is such a sweetheart, he could live in a home with kids ages 10 and older, and shows potential with younger kids if they`re a good fit.
