What my friends at ACC say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.I am looking for a home with a patient person.A volunteer writes: Missy loves to make an entrance, which is why she makes several of them back-to-back. Combining encore after encore with playful nuzzles, Missy's show might be a little different from your standard theater and not just because she's so cute. More likely it's because she isn't entirely sure about the Care Center. Missy comes out from her cubby in a big sparkly burst, waving her paws as she prepares for the nuzzle segment of her show. But Missy's hopeful enthusiasm sometimes has the opposite effect of its intention and sends her returning to the cubby after just a couple of cuddles, which I completely get. I shared some pets but before I could even blink, it was time for the next encore, and the next, and the next. While Missy loves being petted and will happily headbutt her new friends, she gets distracted by all the hustle and bustle of the Care Center.
