My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I am playful and cute! Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners. My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Brownie is an EXCELLENT walker. He was a bit excited when handed off to me at ACC but after that he walked with a loose leash like a champ. We covered a total of 6 miles (with many breaks - Brownie rested patiently and calmly on the grass or by a bench) over the day, and the only time he really pulled on the leash was when he saw a squirrel. He also pulled a little when we passed another dog, but was respectful and kept walking after "saying hi from afar". A few times while we were walking in the street and a big cart went past us on the sidewalk, Brownie stopped and didn't want to continue on. I think he was scared, so I gave him a big hug and gently coaxed him to keep going, and he was trotting on in no time. He's such a charismatic fellow that four different people stopped us to comment on his beautiful coat and big smile. He is great in cars - he hopped into the Uber, lay down on the floor, and rode calmly the whole way. When we got to my apartment he got excited and jumped up, but I told him to "sit" and he immediately complied. He is a good boy and does not jump onto furniture. He took a nap on the floor at my feet.Brownie is a big sweetie and loves pets, hugs and cuddles anytime. Anyone would be lucky to have a friend like Brownie, he will be a loyal and loving companion who is up for just about anything. I'm rooting for this lovebug. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 61 Age: 3yrs 1mths 2wks
