My story

Blueberry Muffin – as sweet as her name suggests – is a delightful little treat of a cat! This tabby and white darling is always ready to rise to the occasion when affection is on the table. She lives for pets, chin scratches, and rubbing up against your legs like you're the flour to her sugar. She’s a classic comfort cat who will warm your heart like fresh muffins on a Sunday morning. But don’t let her soft sweetness fool you – Blueberry Muffin has limits to her emotional oven time. She can get overwhelmed if there’s too much activity or noise, so she’s best suited for a home with older, cat-savvy children who understand when she needs a break to cool off. She’ll thrive in a calm kitchen (er, house), where she can soak up the love without boiling over. If you're ready for a purr-fectly portioned companion, Blueberry Muffin is ready to be the best part of your day. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
