KALI

My story

Kali is a Hindu goddess associated with, among other things, liberation. Well, our Kali would love to be liberated from the shelter so that she can spend her days in a loving home of her very own! Kali is a young dog who lived most of her life in one home. She reportedly did well with kiddos in that home, was crate trained, and was described as an affectionate, high- energy girl. Kali can be a tad shy at first but opens right up with a bit of patience and kindness. Here’s what staff and volunteers have said:“Outside of her kennel Kali is so happy to get to a yard and bounces around. She comes over for treats and affection. Such a cute girl!!”“I took Kali out to meet a couple. She was nervous at first, but warmed up to be very friendly and leaned into me to solicit attention. Allowed lots of handling. We sat on the floor with her and she opened up lots!”If you have just a little bit of time to help Kali feel safe, she’s ready to be your adventure buddy for life! Kalie shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit.
