My story

Winnie #A869741“My mom always told me not to make friends, but I have learned that being pet and loved is very enjoyable!”Winnie is the last of her litter to become available; she needed a little extra time for socialization. She has come a LONG way, and after learning to trust, she will seek out attention and affection! Winnie LOVES her big doggie foster sister and would do well with a furr-iend who doesn’t mind having her in their bubble! (Other’s personal boundaries do not exist in her eyes, but her own boundaries are set and strict.) She sometimes will still get startled, and then she will remind you that she has all her claws and intends to keep them. She also requires to be informed in advance when you are going to pet or pick her up. Winnie would do well in a calm household (probably without small children), with her family available to treat her like a princess. She will do fine with older kids and other furry family members, with a proper introduction, and as long as they are respectful, calm and kind.Winnie would not object to being taken home with her stepsister, Roo #A873165.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt WINNIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
