My story

Gourd came to CVHS when he wasn’t getting along with the other cats in the home. Since being here he has done well with his feline roommate with a similar personality. He is a friendly boy who loves attention. In his prior home he enjoyed being an indoor/outdoor cat and would prefer that lifestyle in the future. Previously he has lived with canines and did not do well with them, so would prefer a canine free home in his next life. He has experience living with children, so he may do just fine with older children. Due to Gourd’s size, our vet has recommended a weight management plan. He will need to go to a home that will help him with a healthy diet and to cheer him on during his weight loss journey.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gourd, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
