My story

Sweet Pea was adopted from CVHS as a kitten, and has returned to us because she is stressed by the active life of her family, and would like to find a calm and quiet home to settle into.Sweet Pea enjoys the company of humans, and is very happy sitting next to you on the couch, or maybe on your lap. She has even enjoyed the presence of children when they are quietly reading a book, but when they are being active, she prefers to be elsewhere. So we are looking for an adult-only home for her, and preferably one that doesn`t have new people stopping in a lot. Throughout her life she has done well with her litter boxes, except when things are too chaotic, and then she looks for somewhere else to toilet.Pea has lived with a large, calm, friendly dog, and has been around chickens the times she has ventured outside. She`s primarily an indoor cat, and enjoyed checking out the great outdoors occasionally , not venturing very far from the house. She has never seen a road with cars on it, so she would definitely not be an outdoor cat on a street environment. She did not live with cats in her previous home, but she`s in one of our colony rooms, and learning to live with cats.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sweet Pea, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
