Garland

My story

Garland came to us through an Animal Control Officer who had picked her up as a stray, so we don`t know anything about her prior life.She had a lot of changes by the time she got to us, but she settled in nicely, getting lots of attention and exercise. She can be a strong puller, but has learned to walk well on leash with a front-clip harness. Garland is food motivated, and eager to please, so she`s doing well with her basic training. She loves hanging out in our offices with staff, wandering from person to person, and snoozing on dog beds or comfy chairs.Garland has shown signs of not wanting other dogs in her life, so she is looking to be the only dog in her new home. We do not know how she feels about cats. She is doing great now about not jumping to greet, and we feel she will do well with children.She would like an active lifestyle, with some fun adventures and exercise, and stimulating brain games, so then she can snuggle on the couch for a good nap. A consultation with our Behavior Specialist is included in Garland`s $350.00 adoption fee.
