Meet Lola, a very sweet young adult female Maltese mix, weighing about 10 lbs! Lola is mama to the Rabbit litter (Roger Rabbit, Fiver, Thumper, Peter Cottontail, and Bugs Bunny), born on 4/16/2025. Her pups are almost old enough to go to their furever homes, and Lola will be ready to retire from her mama duties soon and find a furever home of her own as well! Lola is a friendly girl who is good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. She will be spayed once she arrives in New England and has finished nursing her pups. Lola has a great personality, and is an amazing mom to her 5 boys. She is sweet, affectionate, and has been excellent with getting her nails cut, hair trimmed a bit, and getting a bath. We know her pups are adorable, but Lola is a supermodel. She is a total catch. **PLEASE NOTE: Lola and the Rabbit litter will be available at our adoption event on 6/22 at Petco in Dayville, CT (puppies will be 9 weeks old at that time). We are accepting applications on them now! We work hard to match each dog to the best applicant for them, so we will start processing applications closer to the event.** Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2411119##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lola, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
