Maple

My story

Maple is a female 1.1yr old Shitzu / Jack Russel mix of 30lbs that is small in stature, but huge in personality. She gets a big smile on her face when she is excited. Maple is very animated. She is athletic, having short, but big bursts of energy. Maple loves to jump high to grab sticks in the air outside. She is a bit clumsy  so we hold them lower for the landing. Maple will chase balls, sit, and give you lots of cuddles. Maple does not like thunderstorms nor gunfire sounds. She will become upset and need reassurance and may benefit from a thundervest. Maple needs a few good play sessions or runs around the yard a day. She loves everyone including the vet. However, her previous owner stated she may have separation anxiety. Shes done well at the rescue so far.  Maple also could stand to lose a few pounds. We hope with regular exercise and less snacks, she may be able to lose it without needing to go to "weight watcher" food. Get your applications in quick.
