My story

Meet Mama, Melody Rose! Melody arrived in September 2024 with a heavy belly full of musical meatballs that have long since found their furever homes. Melody also arrived heartworm positive. She has started her treatment. She can be adopted while she undergoes treatment and Paws will provide the medications and instructions for her adopter.  Now, on to the good stuff. Melody is such a sweet girl. She is kind of a velcro girl. She loves being with people. She'll climb out of her kennel to get back to you. She keeps a clean space. She's becoming quite playful. She likes fetch and going out to walk a bit. She is looking for a home with no other pets. She can be hesitant with men and certain other people until she feels comfortable with them. This might be from a bad experience before she arrived with us. Melody is a fast learner and our volunteers and trainer have been working hard with her to teach her good leash skills and basic commands. Her adopter should be willing to continue working on those skills and perhaps help further them by hiring a trainer.  Melody has been going for sleepovers and weekend getaways with one of our volunteers. They state she is the perfect houseguest. She is chill, housetrained, enjoys laying around watching TV/Movies with her friend, and getting tons and tons of lovin!! She also likes watching out the window to see whats going on in the world. Melody has a fully sponsored adoption fee to an approved adopter. If you would like to give this girl her best life so she forgets about her previous life, get an application submitted today. She will make sure you have no regrets! ##2200928##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Melody, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
