Goliath may have a big name, but he’s got an even bigger heart—and the cutest chubby cheeks to match! This handsome boy came to Dakin as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but we’re getting to know his sweet personality more every day. Though shy at first with new people, Goliath is learning just how cozy and comforting indoor life can be. Give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his softer side shine through—especially when he starts making biscuits on his favorite cozy blankets! Once he feels safe and comfortable, Goliath will gently head bump you for attention and stretch out on his side for pets. He’s also rocking a set of extra toes—yes, he's polydactyl—which just makes him that much more unique and adorable. If you’re looking for a mellow, sweet companion, Goliath might be the gentle giant for you. Come meet this special boy and see if he's the purring pal you’ve been waiting for! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. If you're ready to adopt now: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00!
