My story

There is an adorable video of me on TikTok! Click here to experience the cuteness! My foster writes: Rhyme is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She loves to cuddle with people on the couch and will fall asleep right next to you. Amazingly, she is fully housebroken, she lies down and waits patiently while we are having a meal at a table. She can walk with a loose leash most of the time and doesn't chase birds/squirrels. She's still learning how to communicate with other dogs. She is very social with people (good with our teen child) and enjoys long walks and lots of exercise. If you are looking for a younger dog with drive outdoors and a cuddly homey personality, Rhyme could be a perfect fit for you!🎶 Meet Rhyme! 🎶Owner Surrender - Family Could No Longer Provide CareRhyme is a joyful 2-year-old mixed breed with a spring in her step and a sparkle in her eyes! Surrendered due to a growing family and limited resources, Rhyme is looking for a new home that can keep up with her zest for life and offer the structure she craves. She's 44 pounds of fun, affection, and high-energy charm.🏡 My Ideal HomeRhyme would thrive with an active adopter who can give her plenty of mental and physical enrichment. She'd love a home that offers daily walks, training games, and cuddle time on the couch. Because she's still learning some manners, a home without very young children is best.🐕 Good with Other Dogs?Rhyme has been playful with familiar dogs but has shown some reactivity-like hard barking and growling-toward unfamiliar dogs, especially small ones. She may do best as the only dog or with a tolerant, confident canine sibling after a slow intro. No dog parks for this girl!🦮 Leash MannersShe's a strong girl with places to be! Rhyme pulls on leash and may bark at small animals or dogs, so we recommend a front-clip harness and continued positive reinforcement training. She's very food motivated and eager to learn.🩺 Overall HealthRhyme is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been treated for kennel cough. She's in good health and ready to find her forever family.🎉 One Fun FactRhyme's favorite thing? Head rubs on a walk. She'll stop mid-stride just to lean in and soak up the love. What my friends at ACC say about me:I can go home today!I need a home where there are no other dogs.I would do best in a home with only adult humans. Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 47 Age: 2yrs 2mths 4wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rhyme, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
