My story

Dog Name: Camden Breed: Heinz 57 Sex: female Age: 6 1/2 weeks Weight: 2 1/2 pounds Medical Needs: spay must be completed by end of October 2025 and is scheduled by Grass Roots Rescue. Appointments can be requested for Georgetown, Dover, Wilmington, or Newark. We will request the appointment at the location most convenient for the adopter. Foster to adopt families must understand we are given dates and whatever date their dog is assigned by the clinic, is the date they are required to keep. Because the spay is still pending, foster to adopt families must live within an hour of the locations listed above, and must be willing to travel there for the appointment. A required $75.00 check must be submitted by the adopter, which Grass Roots Rescue will hold and then destroy once the neuter is verified. Rabies vaccine is due at appropriate age Housebroken: no Crate trained: no Good in the car: yes, so far she travels in a crate with her siblings. Good on a leash: not yet Energy level: puppy Need a fenced in yard: unknown Dog Friendly: yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? Hasn’t paid any attention to the cat in her foster home. Kid Friendly: I’m sure she will be with appropriate aged children. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any as long as supervised. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Don’t let her size fool you. This little girl holds her own with her big brothers. She comes bouncing when she’s called. She will keep you laughing at her spirited personality. When she is ready for a nap she loves an arm to snuggle into. Camden is very tiny so she can easily get underfoot.
