My story

Dog Name: Casir Breed: pit mix Sex: Male Age: 8 yrs Weight: 65 lbs Medical Needs: None Neutering is scheduled for Dec. 31st. Housebroken: Yes. May attempt to mark initially but he is housebroken Crate trained: Yes but he doesn't need it. He is a good boy Good in the car: Yes. Loves to go Good on a leash: pulls hard. A prong does help Energy level: Low. He can get excited and playful and get zoomies but that's if you get him excited. For the most part he is laid back napping the day away Need a fenced in yard: Yes Dog Friendly: Yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? No. He would be totally content being the center of your world. He does play a little with his foster brother but at his age he is ready to lounge around. Cat Friendly? No Kid Friendly: Yes I would recommend older kids 10 and up. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 10 and up. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Casir is a great dog! Easy. As easy as they get. He would be a great first dog because all the work is done. He is housebroken, friendly, laid back, just an all around easy pup. He doesn't get into trouble he doesn't chew things up. He is a good boy! He does get a little excited about balls though. He loves them and may try to take them out of your hand before you realize what's even going on. Not in a mean way but in an I'm so excited to have the ball I can't help myself way and that is the reason I would recommend older kids. He also isn't gonna be much of a playmate for other dogs so young dogs probably wouldn't work as good as another older pup to lounge with. He does play but only in short increments and then it's nap time again. He loves toys! He knows sit and give paw and he knows the word ball for sure! Ask him where it's at and he will start frantically looking with excitement! Casir is definitely one of the good ones and has been a pleasure to foster. Fosters Location: New Castle, De Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application(if you already have an approved application on file email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your application ##2152738##
