HIGHLIGHT:- May require another confident dog already established in the homeMeet Melody, a beautiful 6-year-old Shiba Inu weighing 23 pounds. Melody is a sweet girl who’s still a bit shy as she adjusts to her new surroundings, but each day brings a little more confidence and curiosity.She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and may benefit from having a calm, confident canine companion in her future home to help guide her and make her feel more secure. With the comfort of another dog and the patience of a loving adopter, Melody will continue to blossom.Though she may be reserved at first, Melody has a gentle spirit and is quietly soaking in the kindness and safety around her. She’s ready to find a family that understands the beauty of slow progress and the joy of watching a once-shy dog bloom into a trusting companion.**********Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with time and a gentle approach, most of these dogs adapt quickly.
