My story

My name is Qual. I&#39m a sassy, independent dilute tortoiseshell female with a lot of personality! I was born approximately 1/20/2015. I had a home once, but when my person went off to college, I couldn&#39t go with him--so now I&#39m looking for a new place to call my own. I can be a little spicy. I love attention, but on my terms, and I&#39ll let you know when I&#39ve had enough. I can also get overstimulated, so it&#39s important to read my signals. But don&#39t worry, I&#39ve got a playful side too! Toys are a great way to keep me entertained and help me burn off some energy. I&#39ve been through a lot in my nine lives. I&#39ve lost most of my teeth, had a mass removed, and even went through a bilateral mastectomy to remove cancer. The good news? The surgery was successful, and I&#39m feeling great now! My vet says there&#39s no guarantee the cancer won&#39t return, but I&#39ve got at least three beautiful rainbow years ahead, and I plan to spend them soaking up the sunshine in a calm, cozy home. Because of my unique medical history, I don&#39t handle vaccines well, and my vet recommends skipping them moving forward. I&#39d be happiest as your one and only kitty, where I don&#39t have to compete for attention or territory. I think I&#39d do well in a home without kids, or older teenagers. Maybe a doggie buddy would be ok, as long as you follow Wild Blue&#39s introduction procedures. If you appreciate a cat with a bit of attitude, who knows what she wants and isn&#39t afraid to tell you, we might just be a perfect match. Are you ready to share your life with a strong, spunky survivor like me? If so, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.wbcats.org/adopt. Let&#39s make these rainbow years unforgettable.May 18, 2025, 4:15 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Qual, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
