Simba

My story

A volunteer writes;Simba came with friends Hello and Panther to the Manhattan Care Center as their owner lost their home. Simba is the shyest of the little group but call his name and he will leave ASAP his hiding spot to meet his visitor. A handsome feline he is(a tiger in white boots and mittens), well built, well dressed, active and visibly happy to be in company, welcoming treats, petting, purring and rolling on his back for deep scratching. A very social cat!He does not mind being picked up for me to place him in areas of the playroom where I can get better "shots" of him. No meow, no squirming...He is a cool cat! Simba is apparently healthy according to our veterinary team. He is already neutered, did very well on his behavior evaluation and could go home as soon as today!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.It could be with you!
